Chalo, Trade the Bus Window for a Trail, a Raft and a Parachute
Istanbul → Cappadocia → Antalya (Köprülü Canyon) → Fethiye (Ölüdeniz) → Istanbul
8N - 9D
Somewhere between the third rapid on the Köprüçay River and the moment your paraglider lifts off Babadağ mountain, this stops being a sightseeing trip and starts being something you did rather than watched. The route runs from Cappadocia's valley trails — Rose Valley and Ihlara Gorge on foot, not from a bus window — down to Köprülü Canyon for whitewater rafting and canyoning through narrow limestone gorges, and on to Fethiye, where paragliding off Babadağ drops you over the turquoise curve of Ölüdeniz's Blue Lagoon. A boat day to Butterfly Valley and a coastal stretch of the Lycian Way round out the physical side of things. We've sequenced the harder days (canyoning, the longer hikes) earlier in the trip when energy is freshest, and built in a genuine rest afternoon at the coast before the final push back to Istanbul. Activity operators are ones we've used and vetted directly, not the first listing on a booking site. This is built for friends, couples or solo travellers who'd rather arrive home with sore legs than a full camera roll of bus-stop photos — reasonable fitness required, no technical climbing experience needed. It's Turkey with your hands on the oars for a change.

The rafting and canyoning operators on this route are ones we've used directly and checked for certified guides and current safety equipment, not the first search result — and we've sequenced the physically harder days early in the trip, before fatigue sets in, with a genuine rest afternoon built in at the coast before you fly home.
“"We've done group treks before but never a trip that mixed rafting, canyoning and paragliding in one go. The Köprülü Canyon rafting guide barely spoke English but somehow made the safety briefing completely clear, and landing on that beach in Ölüdeniz after the paraglide is not something I'll describe well in words." — Karan Oberoi, Bengaluru”
